Northeast Arkansas’ first and only Beer K consists of six laps around the Community Pavilion. Participants will drink beer provided by Flyway Brewing, while competing for the fastest one kilometer time. When the timer sounds to start the Beer K, participants will drink their first six ounce serving and then run their first lap.
This will be repeated five times and standard beer run rules apply. Beer must be consumed in the ‘chug zone’ before beginning each lap. Thou shalt not spilleth thy beer. Participants who experience a rapid and unplanned oral evacuation of their beer will be disqualified. (Try not to throw up).
The Beer K is split into heats, with a maximum of 12 runners per heat. The fastest overall time wins for male and female entrants.
